About Windber Borough

Grande Parade Information

Windber Borough will be hosting a grand parade on Saturday, July 2, 2022, and there are several ways you can participate in the festivities:

  • Participation by area Fire and EMS Companies, local bands, groups, and clubs participating by performing or dressing up and walking together or creating a float to represent your organization. Winners in each category will receive a cash reward and ribbon. Application and
    instructions are attached.
  • We are also inviting the children to participate in the parade by decorating and riding their bikes in the parade. There will be awards and ribbons for each age groups for best decorated bike.
